The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in BH donated computers worth over BAM
12,000 for the study programme of sinology, the establishment of which is expected next
academic year at the University of Banja Luka, when the enrollment of the first generation of
students is expected.
Since the establishment of the Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka in 2018, the
Embassy of the People's Republic of China has provided support to all its activities, which is
why the directors of the Institute Ljiljana Stević and Shen Li visited its representatives on 9
October 2020 and wanted to personally express gratitude and satisfaction with the achieved
cooperation.
In addition, on the occasion of the recent opening of the Confucius Classroom, a branch of the
Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka, in the Banja Luka Grammar School, where
pupils of this secondary school will have the opportunity to continue studying Chinese language and culture in a modern classroom, the Embassy of PR China donated masks and hand disinfectors to this school.
