Professor from Confucius Institute at University of Banja Luka, Anja Mudrenovic, and three candidates of 2019 Summer Camp, Miroslav Malinovic, Ana Sesum and Matea Stevic were hosted at Republic of Srpska National TV station where they were talking about their experience in China.
The interview took place on August 1, in the Morning Show. Anja Mudrenovic pointed out that this is the first time that Confucius Institute UBL organized summer camp along with Tianjin University of Technology and Education and other related organizations including Headquarters of Confucius Institute and Beijing Language and Culture University. She said that this was a great opportunity for learners of Confucius Institute at University of Banja Luka to see and understand Chinese culture, university life and to improve their language skills.
Miroslav Malinovic and Ana Sesum, who have been studying Chinese language for a year, said that this was their first trip to China and an amazing experience. They seized the opportunity to speak Chinese language with native speakers and to experience Chinese culture first hand. Matea Stevic pointed out the importance of meeting new people and cultures and said she had a wonderful time in Tianjin and Beijing.
All to the candidates said that half a month’s stay in China was too short and they would like to improve their Chinese language proficiency and visit China again which means summer camp is one of the ways for Confucius Institute at University of Banja Luka to promote Chinese language and culture.
