Students of the Sinology Study Programme of the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka, participated in the workshop ;Winter Academy 2023 - Doing Business in China, which was held from 6 to 9 February 2023.
The workshop held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad, whose
participants were also visited by the Ambassador of China to Serbia Chen Bo, was led by Prof.
Nikola Zivlak, PhD, from Emlyon Business School; Shanghai, and other lecturers who cooperate with China.
The Winter Academy organized by the Belt and Road Institute Belgrade, the Embassy of the
People`s Republic of China to Serbia and the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of
Novi Sad is an event intended for students of all study levels who have the opportunity to learn
more about business culture and development of one of the fastest growing world economies.
This was also an opportunity for students to get introduced to the business trends and forecasts in the Chinese market and through interactive work master the field of economics with all the specifics of doing business in China. The participants of the workshop also had the opportunity to get practical knowledge by visiting the Chinese companies China Railway International Co in Novi Sad and Huawei in Belgrade.
