RS Minister of Science and Technology Alen Seranic and RS Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation Zlatan Klokic visited together with the Adviser to the RS President Nina Sajic and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Banja Luka University on 16 July 2018 the University of Technology and Education in Tianjin. At the meeting with the representatives of the University, organized in cooperation with the Confucius Institute at Banja Luka University, the Rector of the University of Technology and Education in Tianjin Liu Xin was delivered the St. Stephen’s Award on behalf of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik as an expression of gratitude for her outstanding contribution in the opening of the Confucius Institute at Banja Luka University.
Ms Sajic emphasized thе importance of the Confucius Institute at Banja Luka University for the Republika Srpska and she spoke highly of the various Chinese language courses and cultural events it has been organizing. She believes that this Institute will continue to have a significant role in cooperation between the Republika Srpska and China.
