On 11 November 2021, Ttraditional Chinese Medicine Doctor Yuen Dongli held a lecture on
traditional Chinese medicine in the lecturing hall of the Faculty of Political Science at the
University of Banja Luka.
The lecture was organized by the Confucius Institute of the University of Banja Luka, as part of
activities organized to mark 46 years of successful work and development of the University of
Banja Luka, and was open to the public, taking into account all recommended epidemiological
measures.
In his presentation, Dr. Yuen referred to the history of Chinese traditional medicine and talked
about acupuncture and the effectiveness of acupuncture, meridians in the human body, as well as the prevention of lung diseases caused by Covid 19. Visitors had the opportunity to see the acupuncture process in practice.
About the lecturer:
Yuen Dongli is an expert in Chinese traditional medicine, who graduated from the University of
Liaoning. During his career, he has given lectures in many countries. During 1990, he lectured in Chinese traditional medicine at many universities in Russia. In 1997 he worked at the Center for Peace and Development at the United Nations, and after that he gave lectures in traditional
medicine and acupuncture at the University of Belgrade and the Clinical Center.
Yuen Dongli has over 40 years of experience and clinical practice. He has been working in BH
for 20 years. He has clinics in Bijeljina, Tuzla and Brcko. Over the years, he has cured a large
number of patients and is highly regarded among those interested in traditional medicine.
