The ceremony dedicated to the launching of joint study programme for master students of the
Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka and the Faculty of Economics and
Management of Tianjin University of Technology and Education was held on 11 November
2021. The ceremony was organized by the Confucius Institute of the University of Banja Luka
together with the Faculty of Economics.
The master students at the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka were presented with a joint study programme with the Faculty of Economics and Management in Tianjin, and the management of the Chinese Faculty addressed them via a video link.
This is the first joint study programme organized with Tianjin University of Technology and
Education and it is intended for students of the study programmes International Economics and Business Economics, which are conducted at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka. These studies will last for one year, and classes will be conducted in English. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, professors from China will work online with students of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka.
Students of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka who attend these lectures from China will be awarded ECTS credits for the subjects they choose to attend in the master''s programme with Tianjin University of Technology and Education.
As soon as the situation concerning the epidemic allows it, it will be possible to organize study
visits and exchanges of students and professors between Banja Luka and Tianjin.
